Allow around 1.5 hours to drive from Jasper to Maligne Lake, and plan to arrive about one hour before your cruise time. This gives you time to enjoy the views, stop for wildlife encounters, and find parking — which can be busy during peak season. Seating on the boats is first-come, first-served, so arriving early also helps you get your preferred spot.
Cruises fill up fast. Book in advance to secure your spot and make the most of your visit.
