Be the captain of your own ship and take part in a classic, family-friend summer activity in the Canadian Rockies. At Maligne Lake, canoes, single kayaks, tandem and kayaks are available for hourly rentals or can be booked in person for the entire day. Pedal boats require in-person booking only. Head to our historic boathouse — originally built by famed local explorer Donald “Curly” Phillips — to pick up your rental and set sail.

Please note that we also have limited equipment on a first-come, first-served basis on-site, though we recommend booking ahead to guarantee your rental.
Equipment rentals are not permitted for people under the age of eighteen (18). A parent must sign all waivers for minors and children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during their rental period.
