Be the captain of your own ship and take part in a classic, family-friend summer activity in the Canadian Rockies. At Maligne Lake, canoes, single kayaks, tandem kayaks and pedal boats are available to rent by the hour or for the entire day. Head to our historic boathouse — originally built by famed local explorer Donald “Curly” Phillips — to pick up your rental and set sail.

Please note that we also have limited equipment on a first-come, first-served basis on-site, though we recommend booking ahead to guarantee your rental.
Equipment rentals are not permitted for people under the age of eighteen (18). A parent must sign all waivers for minors and children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during their rental period.
