Originally from Quebec City, Estelle Blanchette arrived in Jasper during a hitchhiking trip in 1998. She quickly fell in love with the community and made it her forever home. A passion for food and Jasper’s culinary scene inspired Estelle to launch Jasper Food Tours in 2018 — just 18 months before the pandemic. Through a challenging few years, her business prevailed, earning recognition as one of Canada’s Top 10 Food Tours two years in a row.

Mike came to Jasper in the mid '80s to join a local theatre company. Who knew an out of work actor would find work in the restaurant business? Mike and Cyndi fell in love with Jasper and started raising a family. They took over operations of Evil Dave’s in 2007 and it’s been their livelihood ever since.
