Open and welcoming, the summit experience is designed to connect you with Sulphur Mountain in your own way and at your own pace.

The Family Experience at the Banff Gondola invites parents and children to dig deeper into the world around us with self-guided activities and adventures.
Experience the Canadian Rockies on a cinematic scale. Our theatre experience lets you soar above the peaks and through the Bow Valley on a journey that spans generations. Along the way, you’ll encounter daring climbers, high-flying skiers and alpine wildlife. Included with your gondola admission.
Calling all kids! Pick up a field guide, complete challenges and join the Rockies Rangers during your Banff Gondola visit. Made for guests ages 2 to 16, with field guides available for three age groups.
The Banff Gondola is fully accessible to people with limited mobility. The main entrance is equipped with automatic doors with interior and exterior sensors. Each of our gondola cars is capable of taking a wheelchair and passenger to the summit. Please see our FAQ section for weight and size limit.
