Due to high traffic expected this weekend, we recommend taking Roam Transit Route 6 to get to Lake Minnewanka from downtown Banff. All cruise guests get a free round-trip ticket by showing their same-day tour ticket to the bus driver.
Important Notice
There will be no service to the Banff Highschool Transit Hub, Fox St., and Hotel Canoe stops between 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. for Route 6 due to the Canada Day parade. Please proceed to the Elk St. Banff Train Station stop for service to Lake Minnewanka during those times.
Lake Minnewanka Cruise is located at Lake Minnewanka, a 15-minute drive from the town of Banff along the Minnewanka Loop Drive, in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. Upon arrival, proceed to our ticket office for check ins and other information.
Lake Minnewanka is one of Banff’s most popular destinations and the parking lot fills quickly. For the best experience, consider taking the bus. Hop on Roam Transit's Route 6 service and show your cruise ticket to the bus driver to get a FREE RIDE.
Board a bus from downtown Banff no later than an hour prior to your cruise time to ensure you arrive on time. Review Roam's bus schedule to find the most appropriate timing*.

If you're driving, please arrive at least two hours prior to your cruise time to ensure you find a parking spot and have time to explore the area from the shore.
Lake Minnewanka Cruise ticket office is located on the boarding docks, approximately a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Please ensure you arrive at the ticket office at least 15 minutes before your departure to complete check-in procedures, which must be done inside the office.
